JiJi surprised the Primary School with a visit this morning as students begin their ST Math journey.

Picture Day at the Primary is Thursday, Sept. 18th for Preschoolers who attend on Thursdays, Kindergarten, and Grade 1.
Preschoolers who attend on Fridays will have pictures taken Friday, Sept. 19th.

Reminder to all Primary School families: Open House and our Book Fair is tonight from 5:30-7:00. Feel free to bring the family to see our school!

Our preschoolers enjoyed Orientation yesterday and today and are ready to start next week!
We can't wait to have them join the Primary School!

First Day for First Graders!!!
Welcome Back, we missed you!

We are so excited to welcome our First Graders to school tomorrow. It’s going to be a great school year!

I was so impressed with our soon to be second graders today as they welcomed the District back to school. Nice job!

In July, the School Committee, members of the leadership team, and representatives from the DTA and DESPA came together to help develop the School Committee’s value and belief statements. We prioritized the following areas: academic excellence, social and emotional well-being, professional culture, family and community engagement, operations, and fiscal responsibility.

Through our work, we developed value and belief statements for each of these focus areas, along with action steps to guide progress toward our objectives. Over the course of the school year, we will concentrate on many of these steps to help move the district forward and ensure student success. While these action items will take more than a year to fully accomplish, they will serve as a roadmap for our ongoing work.

I am grateful to the members of the School Committee, the leadership team, and our educators who dedicated time during the summer to participate in this effort. It was a thoughtful, engaging, and collaborative process that reflects our shared commitment to the success of every student.
